Koonthankulam Bird Sanctuary
The largest-ever reserve for breeding waterbirds in South India. This sanctuary is a protected area in the Koonthankulam village in Nanguneri Taluk. If you are a bird lover, don't miss this spot! There is also a children's park, a watchtower and an interpretation centre.

District Science Centre
